Learning Disabilities Support Worker Wanted in LS29

Learning Disabilities Female Support Worker URGENTLY needed in the LS29 area
No experience is necessary as full training will be given to the right candidate along with working alongside an experienced staff member in the first weeks.
We provide care for a 21 year old female with Dravet Syndrome who lives in the Ilkley area.
We are looking for friendly, professional and fun people to support her whilst out in the community, where she participates in arts and crafts and horse riding, and at home, where she enjoys singing, dancing, doing puzzles, gardening and many more activities!
Training will be provided and duties will include:
- Personal care
- Organising stimulating activities
- Providing support in day to day activities
Hours to start from 1st July:
Monday to Friday
8.45 – 15.15
15.15 – 22.00
You must possess a full, clean driving licence and have your own transport.
Excellent rates of pay and mileage allowance, future training and carer development.
Essential attributes:
- Reliable and committed
- Punctual and conscientious
- Literate and numerate
- Able to complete Care Certificate and other Mandatory training
- Common interests to that of the client
- Excellent communication and
- Time management skills,
An ability to build relationships and a genuine care for others is a crucial part of the role.
